Trei Real Estate GmbH (“Trei”), an international developer and asset manager, just started construction work for a residential quarter in Düsseldorf. The site on Robert-Stolz-Strasse in the Mörsenbroich district is currently occupied by an empty obsolete building with office and residential units, which is to be razed now. Subsequent development of the site will create two residential buildings with around 140 apartments overall and a combined dwelling floor area of 8,000 square metres. The completion is planned for 2027. General contractor is the Nesseler Bau GmbH from Aachen, while Düsseldorf-based HPP Architekten GmbH is responsible for the architectural design and the integrated planning. The total amount invested will equal 59 million euros.

Indeed, the greened inner courtyard, which will feature a playground and seating, will be the highlight of this new residential quarter. Many of the apartments, which will have between one and four bedrooms, will directly face the inner courtyard. The underground car park will provide a total of 84 car parking spots for tenants.
Mörsenbroich is located about four kilometres north-east of downtown Düsseldorf and has convenient public transportation links to the town centre. Although it is known as a transport hub, Mörsenbroich represents a quiet district dotted with green areas. Another benefit of the district is its well-developed infrastructure: Various supermarkets are located nearby along with other grocery retailers, preschools, schools and several sports clubs.
