Great potential for retail parks in Poland

The "Vendo Park" brand of Trei Real Estate GmbH, property subsidiary of the Tengelmann Group, continues on its successful course. Today, the 15th Vendo Park retail centre opens its doors in Łódź. With the 6th centre opening in Poland, the company continues to systematically drive its international retail park concept and once again presents itself as an expert real estate partner for the retail industry. In addition to Poland, Trei Real Estate operates retail centres of this kind in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

“Each of these specialist retail centres is unique,” says Jacek Wesołowski, Managing Director of Trei Real Estate Poland, explaining the brand’s formula for success.  “Our custom mix of national and international retail chains allows us to accommodate the needs and requirements of our customers at their location. This is an objective to which we attach superior importance.” A concept that is exceptionally well-received by the tenants: Just like its predecessors, the fifteenth Vendo Park has already found tenants for all of its outlets before it even opened. “Demand far exceeded the spaces we had available,” confirms Jacek Wesołowski.

The new site is located in the district of Widzew in Łódź, 130 km south-west of Warsaw. More than 700,000 people live in the centre’s catchment area. The new Vendo Park has rental space of approximately 2,500 m² and 230 parking spaces for customers. Among the tenants are notable retailers from the non-food sector like KiK, Media Expert and Kakadu; one more tenant will open its doors in April. This range of goods for daily needs is complemented by the comprehensive range on offer at a neighbouring supermarket Kaufland. Interested customers can find the range of goods on offer from the retailers at Vendo Park on the home page at lodz.vendo-park.com.
