Mülheim an der Ruhr, December 17, 2012 – TREI Real Estate, real estate subsidiary of the Tengelmann Group, opened two additional speciality store centres on November 29, 2012 under the "VENDO PARK" brand in Bánovce, Slovakia, and Jablonec, Czech Republic. "The intensive ground work performed by TREI Real Estate for the implementation of the VENDO PARK concept is now bearing fruit. With the opening of the first speciality store centres in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and soon in Poland, TREI Real Estate is again distinguishing itself as a competent partner in the real estate segment in Eastern Europe," according to Karl-Erivan W. Haub, managing and personally liable partner of the Tengelmann Group. The "VENDO PARK" in Bánovce represented the first property opened in Slovakia. In total we have already been able to complete three openings this year.

Numerous projects are planned for the coming year as well. "Our development pipeline for 2013 is full and we expect to open five "VENDO PARKs". In addition to our two openings in Poland, we have another two openings planned in Slovakia and one in the Czech Republic," explained Urban Plattes, TREI Real Estate CEO.

All "VENDO PARKs" are fully leased. The broad range of product offerings is rounded out by well-known international and national tenants from the non-food sector such as Deichmann, dm, Sportissimo, KiK and Takko. Commercial offerings will be rounded out by the location of a large hypermarket adjacent to the property.
